Join Me for a Website Tour
I have loaded my website full of all kinds of goodies. You’ll, of course, find information about all of my books, catch up on my blogs, connect to my podcast, and read a large selection of my articles and interviews. But I’ve also included videos, downloads, and fun stuff like games and quizzes. I recently made a few changes, so I thought it would be a good time to take you on a tour to remind you of all that can be found at TABarron.com. Here, amidst my website, it’s my hope that you find not just information, but a welcoming embrace, a spark of joy, and a reminder that every moment is an opportunity to discover something extraordinary.
First up on our tour: the homepage. Here, you will find my top news — including updates about Magic & Mountains: The T. A. Barron Podcast, my latest books, Merlin movie news, and more. There’s also a section to learn a little bit more about me, your tour guide! Don’t forget to subscribe to the newsletter at the bottom of the page.
Our next stop is “Books,” a place to find my complete works, from the Merlin Saga and The Atlantis Trilogy to my books about the adventures of Kate. You’ll also find my picture books, like The Day the Stones Walked and High as a Hawk, as well as my non-fiction book highlighting the heroic traits of courage, hope, generosity, compassion, and perseverance: The Hero’s Trail. There is also a section of International Editions for my readers outside of the United States.
Continuing on our tour, I invite you to explore my blog and “In the Media” which includes a large selection of articles and interviews. My blog features posts on a variety of topics that are important to me, and is also a great place to keep up with news and announcements.
In the main menu, you’ll also find links to “Merlin: The Movie,” where you can keep up with any news on a certain movie project. “About” which includes a more in depth introduction to my story and my passions (and is also where you can find my press kit and a short FAQ). The “Podcast” section includes links to every episode of Magic & Mountains, as well as more information about each of my special guests.
And now, the highlight of my tour: Five special categories designed especially with you in mind. You may recall the old “For” sections, such as “For Nature Lovers” or “For Educators.” I have reorganized what can be found in these sections (and added some new stuff) so they are focused less on who you are and more on what you love. So dive in, take a look, and be inspired!
1. Nature
This new section contains content not just for nature lovers, but for anyone who appreciates nature and the efforts being made to protect our precious planet.
This page, as a whole, is my celebration of Mother Earth and her many wonders, mysteries, crises, and inspirations. Nature lovers — may you feel all those enduring qualities as you explore this section!
What to expect:
- My nature books
- My environmental writings and interviews
- My deepest concerns for the planet and all its creatures
- My greatest hopes for the future
- My favorite ways to help the Earth
Many episodes from my podcast, Magic & Mountains, are specifically devoted to nature, and they are also linked in a special playlist in this section.
You can also find a small sample of my videos about the joys, challenges, and blessings of nature.

I’ve compiled these resources to help teachers, librarians, parents, and homeschool families inspire young heroes in your life. These videos, articles, books, and more can be used in the classroom or at home. Come along and join the hero’s trail!
3. Creativity
Creativity is an irresistible force that lifts the hearts and minds of everyone it touches. Here, you’ll discover a trove of resources to fuel your own creative endeavors. Especially useful to writers is “A Special Essay for Writers” — and I hope you’ll laugh with me at the completely bizarre story of how I got started as a writer. You’ll also enjoy the many episodes from my podcast, Magic & Mountains, devoted to the agony and ecstasy, mystery and power, of writing.
- “A Special Essay for Writers”
- Podcast episodes on the art of writing
- Insightful videos for aspiring writers
- Articles and blogs offering guidance and inspiration
For educators, librarians, parents, and homeschool families, this section is a treasure trove of invaluable resources. Engage budding writers with discussions on character development, narrative voice, and the essence of fantasy.
My dearest hope is that all these resources will encourage you to find your own unique voice, write what you love, and share your stories with the world.
4. Merlin
Merlin fans — I’ve created this page just for you!

Enjoy your explorations! May you ultimately feel inspired to see your life as a story — a unique story that only you can write.
Beyond the materials you’ll find here, I invite you to visit our sister sites, the Gloria Barron Prize for Young Heroes and Inspiring Young Heroes (IYH). The Barron Prize celebrates outstanding young leaders of all backgrounds and descriptions. IYH is a video portal showcasing the incredible, inspiring stories of some of those young heroes.
A final note to Teachers, Librarians, and Parents: If you’re looking to share inspiration with others, my downloads page is full of absolutely FREE resources like discussion guides, printable bookmarks, activities guides, and more that you can use in your classroom, homeschool, or library. The Q&A, Articles & Blogs, Maps, and Videos all provide starting points from which to have meaningful discussions.
