Book Tour Wrap Up

My May Book Tour has officially wrapped… another amazing journey! It seems like it was just yesterday I was planning and preparing for my visits to schools and bookstores around the country — and now it’s over.

To be able to tour, meet friends old and new, speak to groups, and inspire people with Merlin’s wisdom is one of my very favorite things, and I’m forever grateful for all the kind words and support. I have been going on book tours for many years, and it always seems that the groups are friendlier and more inspiring each new time I return to an area. A special THANK YOU to everyone that came out to say hello, hear me speak, and have a book signed.

Here’s a short wrap of the second, West coast leg of my tour (you can find the highlights of the East coast portion here):

My first stop on the West coast was in Pleasanton CA, where I had a terrific time at Towne Center Books — look at these smiling faces!:

Next, it was on to Corte Madera, to see all my friends at Book Passage bookstore, and following that event I made a stop at The Reading Bug in San Carlos, CA. What a joy it was to see everyone and feel the heartfelt appreciation for all the stories we’ve shared through the years!
I also made sure to stop at a number of bookstores and personally sign some of their stock of books. At Linden Tree Books in Los Altos, I was even lucky enough to run into a dragon friend.

Moving a little closer to home, I had the joy of presenting to this marvelous school group in Aspen CO…

…then it was on to the final event at Boulder Bookstore, which really feels like home, with so many events and friends made there over the years. I love being able to enjoy time with my local fans, with the added bonus of being able to see my family at the end of the day.

Being back home is really terrific, but I’m still smiling about all the good times I had while on the road this time around. If I didn’t have a stop in your area on this tour, rest assured that I’ll be on the road again soon – I hope we’ll have a chance to meet!
